Advice on audiovisual production and programming

Directors : John Peek, Paul Youngbluth

Glance, Médiamétrie's global TV audience analysis service, and TAPE Consultancy, a specialist in content and consultancy for audiovisual production and programming, have joined forces to develop synergies between their respective expertise in the fields of audience and TV programming.

Under the terms of the agreement, Médiamétrie / Glance will take a 52% stake in TAPE Consultancy. The managing directors, John Peek and Paul Youngbluth, remain shareholders alongside Médiamétrie/Glance with a 48% stake.

Through this merger, TAPE Consultancy and Médiamétrie/Glance are strengthening their mutual expertise and providing the global audiovisual industry -studios, channels, rights holders- with a unique pool of skills in the analysis and consulting of international TV programmes.

TAPE Consultancy consolidates its analyses thanks to the tools developed by Glance, in particular on the monitoring of programmes and channels.

For its part, Glance enriches NoTa, its monitoring service for new TV programmes in the world, thanks to TAPE Consultancy's recognised skills in the detection and analysis of TV programmes. Glance also intensifies its presence in the United Kingdom, a strategic crossroads in the global audiovisual economy.
